This is a painting of the 18th Hole of the Ailsa Course, Clubhouse and Hotel at Turnberry painted by Gordon White.

Turnberry is located in Ayrshire on the West Coast of Scotland and will be the host of the Open Championship again in 2009. Turnberry has arguably provided one of the greatest final days in Open Championship history when Tom Watson and Jack Nicklaus battled it out in the famous “Duel in the Sun” in 1977. Tom Watson won that Open, he also won the Seniors British Open in 2003 over the same course.

This painting is of the 18th hole which has provided the backdrop for many great finishes such as that of Nick Price in the 1994 Open Championship.
